The dragon pic was inspired by an awesome dream I had about racing, falling off cliff, landing on dragons then fighting... Wish I had a larger canvas to draw this on though.

Also Robot comic (the cat is based on a stray white cat my fisherman uncle and co-workers have taken care of for years.)

Okay, so this isn't quite what you were going for for the "Dragon" topic and he's sorta of a poor-man's version of Toothless but I thought I'd post it anyways. Meh.

I think it's suppose to be a bulldog? Ah hell it's been so long I can't remember anymore! Anyways, here is my Feb drawing for Carling's three things. As you can see I'm freaking lazy and totally cheated with Lost. It's suppose to be HP after all the exciting events of the books where now he just sits around watching tv, or something. I dunno.

Sorry for the long wait and sorry it really isn't worth the wait but I finished (sorta) at least!

I did 2!! With watercolour! CRAZY! So I want to get good at watercolour so if any of you people have any tips or ideas on how to make better ones let me know!

Also I tweaked the levels a bit in photoshop to make them a bit brighter.

The top dragon I call "Fat and Sassy". His wings are so small because he is a not a flying dragon, he resides in small bodies of water. Although large, he is very slow. He uses his nostrils on top of his head to hide in water, and also to heat up small pools of water. His spike tail is primarily used to spear fish.

The middle dragon is a Pony Dragon, mainly because he reminds of a my lil Pony doll.

The last dragon is baby Spiny Dragon. They mature at age 2 when they grow their wings. They use their Iguanadon style thumbs to tear open flesh on their prey.

Yup, I'm a huge nerd. Romulan me is dancing it up flapper-style with a "I'm too Vulcan to dance" Mr. Spock. For those of you who are not huge Trekkies we are doing the Vulcan (and I assume Romulan) two-finger kiss. I'm not happy with the legs on Spock; plus I tried to add pinstripes, but it totally wasn't working. Bah! I probably should have made a different skirt as well because the leg action was kind of lost with this one. Also, I realize I still make my ladies hands far too big. Critique is always welcome!

Okay so I wasn't TOTALLY lazy...just kind of. I was trying to do many different things. First I thought a little girl in 1920's clothes would be cool. Then I was looking at the 1920's nudes and they were beautiful but my sketches just weren't coming out right so I did a teeny tiny little doodle just before bed the other week of the typical flapper and there we go haha. I don't have a scanner or photoshop(just got a new comp use my camera to bring it into the computer) So this will have to do till then. I'm so ghetto!

Meet Ned. I made him a while back for a art show at work. The other day I finally took pictures of him to post him here and on deviant art. I know hes not a drawing but I wanted to post him anyhow. He matches with Monika's super cute ice cream octo. He's made out of wool and i "sculpted" him using felting needles. I would say he took about 6 hours on and off.

sooo here's my merboy. He's a German Blue Ram. they are a fresh water fish. They are a funny looking fish with a lot of personality. I want to get some next time around but they are super picky when it comes to water conditions. i got lazy and didn't do any scales or what have you. Geman blues don't actually glow. they just got this crazy bright iridescent blue flecks on their scales. this is the best i could do haha. there should be more blue and black in there but meh. anymore and ill totally ruin it.

Paradisaea Vampyre

Nicknamed the Flamboyant Dracula Bird Of Paradise. A nickname given due to the thick colorful collar like plume around his neck that matches his cape like wings. When performing the mating dance, this bird of paradise can be seen flashing some amazing colors. The underside of males feathers are bright yellow and orange. The male repeatedly splays his wings displaying an brilliant wave of colors.

I was very inspired by the Planet Earth DVDs. They are probably the most amazing thing I have ever seen. Some of the most strange, beautiful, and incredible things in the world. Makes you realize what a beautiful diverse planet we live on and don't even realize it. I highly reccomend watching this series if you haven't already seen it.

This was a nice project. I don't draw animals, but I had a lot of fun drawing this, and the research was cool. This was a new technique for me as well, and I like the outcome very much. I did my clean lines on a sheet of tracing paper. I did my main flat colors with felt pen. I let it dry over night to ensure the felt was completely dry before adding pencil crayon on top in many layers. I like this technique and want to try a few other pictures like this. It has been a long time since I worked with traditional media like pencil crayons. Its nice for a change.

I some weird issue with my scanner this week. But I've been so busy its been hard for me to try and fix it. But Apparently after all that it worked tonight...YAY.

Anyways this is Halloween picture that I really liked and wanted to add. So here it is on Halloween

I did the purplish blue highlights and it sucks because then I realized after its really close to the sky color. :( But I really like the hair. The coloring was pretty quick as I want to get it up, but oh well I kinda like it.

Woo. K. So it took a while, but here's my Virgo. Me and Carling are both Virgos, but I'm glad we went in completely different directions.
Virgo is suppose to represent the feminine. It's the only astrological sign represented by a female. Which is why I went with a art nouveau inspired style. I've always considered Alphonse Mucha's style incredibly feminine and beautiful.
The sphere is supposed to represent Mercury which is the planet that rules Virgo.
Virgo is also a earth sign, hence the 'earthy' colours.
The astrological sign is suppose to represent the arms and body of the virgin holding wheat, which is what those plants are supposed to be. (I know they look like ferns, but meh I like them none the less.)
So that's my Virgo.
